"Black Leader, this is H'ratth control, request is granted," a voice with a Concord Dawn accent replied. "Sending flight path for landing at Davijaan Spaceport. Keep all weapons powered down and maintain posted air speed." The route sent to the navicomputer called for a relatively slow approach once it reached 50 km from the surface. The path went over the ocean towards its destination, but copper-barked forests and open grasslands could be seen along the coast. There were a few signs of habitation, but nothing that looked all that impressive from the air. The spaceport itself sat at the foot of a mountain near the coast.

They'd been en route to base when the call came through: "Change of plans Aiwha squad, we've got a visitor coming in to pad A-28 we need escorted into central."
"Yes sir. On our way." They immediately changed course, heading towards... That was a ways out, and in one of the open-air landing zones. To the speeders, then. "Expecting trouble?"
"Codes are good and claims to be on a diplomatic mission, but he's showing up unannounced in a UT-60. We want to make sure things stay polite."
"Polite or painfully polite?" Dirty asked.
"The former. Galactic Affairs has vouched for the codes, but we want to make sure."
"Copy that. We'll take care of it, sir."
"Keep me informed. We need to verify who this is." The call clicked off, as they stepped into the speeder bay.
"Right," he said, glancing out of the bay doors towards A-28. "Flo, Zero and Bubbles, take the bikes. Dirty, you're driving the four-seater." He wanted those two at a good range to take over if they needed it. And if they needed it, the greater stability of the larger speeder would give him a clearer shot.
But that was for if things didn't stay polite. "Let's go make new friends." As they jetted out across the field, they could see the dark shape of the U-wing coming in off the ocean. They'd done work off-planet before, but it had been a while since he'd seen an outsider. He hoped this one would be friendlier than most they'd dealt with.
