ct_7567: (NO HELMET - over his shoulder)

[ Normally, Rex would give them his name. There's little he has left to lose; his name means far less than his identity as a clone. But Andy's tone rankles, and he hates hearing his brother's name spit in such a tone, as though it's not a name at all - not Five, but Fives, a difference slight enough to be important, but not so slight that it doesn't sting. He keeps marching steadily forward, expression stony.

He wishes he were here. He wishes he'd listened to the man sooner. ]

That's what passes for names, for us. We don't get names like you, [ he says, tone wooden, though there's something biting underneath it all. It doesn't take long for him to come across an unassuming doorway and he thumps on it in a specific pattern, muttering a password as soon as his knocks are answered. A low, musical voice answers. ] There's only supposed to be one of you.

Well, now there's three. Open up.

I didn't agree to this.

You wouldn't have agreed to my coming here if you weren't desperate for credits in the first place. It's this, or nothing. Make your decision quickly. I don't have time for this.

[ It's a gambit. He needs her as much as she needs him. But after a long moment, the door opens, revealing a Kaminoan, pale white, neck long and slender, large, black eyes suspiciously regarding the three of them as they enter what appears to be her home. ] You're Kaminoan, [ Rex says, surprised, and she inclines her head. ]

All of us must make a living, Clone. Come. Touch nothing. If you cause any problems, there will be consequences.

[ With that, the Kaminoan opens up a hatched door, hidden underneath both a rug and a desk and leads them down into the first room of a bunker, equipped with another desk, a few scattered chairs, and shelves filled with flimsi and what appear to be carefully organized experiments and holos alike. She holds out her hand meaningfully and Rex tosses a pouch of credits at her, far, far bulkier than the one he'd originally given Andy and Poe; it's the bulk of what he's saved up over the past year and change, and it's not an insignificant sum. She opens it immediately, digging through it with long fingers to make sure that it's all legitimate before squirreling it away inside of her robes. ]

Very well. I will prepare. Do what you will with your remaining time, Clone, and enter once you are prepared. I will have my eye on the rest of you.

[ Cameras, no doubt. Rex ignores the implicit threat as she disappears through the door in the back, leaving him and the others behind. ]
