"No argument from me," he muttered as he finished wrapping the bandage, tucking the ends in and tying it off before stepping back. He shoved everything back into the bag and hefted it onto his shoulder - right beside the other bag he'd already packed. His was mostly food supplies though. Batteries. A flashlight.
Ammo.
"Don't get your hopes up about warning anyone," he warned lowly as he reached down an arm to her, an offer to help her up. "I think it... it didn't just hit here. I lost contact with flight control before I even landed. I couldn't raise anyone on the radio. Even if the base went dark, someone else..."
He trailed off, swallowing.
"Let's just go. We can work out the rest when we're in the air."
